WSBK: Ducati Crew Chief Talks To Soup

There's a great interview with Ernesto Marinelli over on Superbike Planet. Marinelli is crew chief to Troy Bayliss in the Xerox Ducati team in World Superbikes.

There are interesting points about the technology of WSBK and the different riding styles of riders. Apparently former Ducati star Carl Fogarty was the best rider in the world when it came to riding around problems, which isn't really a surprise, since King Carl has been telling us this repeatedly for many years now!

Of course, being Superbike Planet there are several questions about how great the USA is, and how much Marinelli must be missing the States (he worked on Ducati's AMA Superbike project). This stars 'n' stripes waving, Tom Clancy reading stuff is what gives "Soup" its charm.

All in all, a good read.
